2. How Data is Used
We use information to:

3. Data Storage & Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy and as required by law.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted service providers to deliver the Services. Depending on your use, this may include:
- Clerkfor authentication, session management, and account security. Clerk's processing is subject to their terms and privacy notice.
- Stripe for payment processing and subscription billing. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers; Stripe handles card data according to its policies.

These providers access data only as needed to perform services on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.

Investigation data is retained according to your plan tier: Starter and Preferred plans retain data for 90 days, Reserve and Business plans for 365 days, and Institutional / Government plans for the life of the contract (subject to your data processing addendum). After the retention period, all investigation data — entities, relationships, source records, and intelligence briefs — is permanently deleted within 30 days.
You may request immediate deletion of all your data at any time from Settings → Privacy → Delete account, or by emailing privacy@kijorn.com. Aggregated or de-identified telemetry may be retained without time limit. All retention periods are subject to backup rotation (≤ 35 days) and legal hold requirements that override customer deletion until the hold is lifted. For the authoritative legal text, see the Data Processing Agreement.
6. User Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may request data export or deletion through in-app settings where available, or by contacting us at privacy@kijorn.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and as required by applicable law. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
